Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Friday said that “Vikas Bhi, Virasat Bhi” is more than a slogan—it represents India’s development philosophy, where economic progress and cultural heritage move forward together.
Addressing the National Conference on Goan Architecture and Sustainability, Sawant stressed that heritage conservation and modern development should complement each other rather than compete.
Speaking at the conference, the Chief Minister said India is pursuing a model of growth that balances modernization with the preservation of its rich cultural heritage.
According to Sawant:
