INDORE, MADHYA PRADESH — Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Sumer Singh Solanki has highlighted the importance of training and capacity-building among party workers during a ‘Vakta Prashikshan Karyashala’ (Speaker Training Workshop) being held in Indore.

Speaking about the event, Solanki said that the workshop has brought together more than 350 party workers from multiple regions, including Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Mumbai, and Goa. He described the gathering as a significant initiative aimed at strengthening communication skills and ideological clarity among BJP workers.

According to him, the workshop is specifically designed to train party workers in effective public speaking, communication strategies, and organisational messaging, enabling them to present the party’s vision and policies more clearly to the public. He emphasised that strong communication is essential in today’s political environment, where direct engagement with people plays a key role.

Solanki noted that participants are being trained through interactive sessions, expert lectures, and practical exercises, which focus on improving confidence, articulation, and clarity in delivering speeches. He said that such training programs help workers become better representatives of the party at the grassroots level.

He further explained that the workshop is part of the BJP’s broader strategy to build a well-trained and disciplined cadre, capable of effectively communicating with citizens and addressing their concerns. According to him, well-informed and confident workers can play a crucial role in strengthening the party’s connection with the public.

The BJP MP also highlighted that participants from different states and regions bring diverse experiences and perspectives, which enrich the training process. This exchange of ideas helps workers understand regional issues better and learn from each other’s experiences.

Solanki added that the workshop also focuses on ideological training, ensuring that party workers have a clear understanding of the BJP’s principles, policies, and achievements. He said that this helps maintain consistency in messaging and strengthens the party’s overall communication strategy.

He emphasised that such initiatives are important for preparing workers for upcoming political challenges and elections, where effective communication can make a significant difference. He said that trained speakers can better convey the party’s development agenda and connect with voters at the grassroots level.

According to organisers, the workshop includes sessions on public speaking techniques, use of data and facts in speeches, handling media interactions, and engaging with different sections of society. These skills are essential for workers who represent the party in public forums.

Solanki also mentioned that the BJP has been consistently organising such training programs across the country as part of its effort to strengthen organisational structure and improve outreach. He said that the party believes in continuous learning and development of its members.

Participants at the workshop expressed that such platforms provide them with an opportunity to learn new skills, gain confidence, and interact with senior leaders and trainers. Many of them said that the training would help them perform better in their roles within the party.

Political observers note that training programs like the ‘Vakta Prashikshan Karyashala’ are an important part of modern political organisations, as they help in building a strong, informed, and articulate workforce capable of engaging with the public effectively.

Solanki concluded by saying that the success of such workshops reflects the party’s commitment to empowering its workers and strengthening its organisational base, which ultimately contributes to better governance and public engagement.

The Indore workshop highlights the BJP’s focus on skill development and organisational strengthening, ensuring that its workers are well-prepared to communicate effectively and represent the party’s vision at all levels.
